South of the imperial Marrakech, rises the magnificent Atlas Range. East from the Toubkal, far from the big trek classics, the mount Meldsen 3596m stands as an eternal witness of a rich pre-history and a traditional way of life that kept all its charm. Rounf this magnificent summit, progressing in beautiful landscapes, this trek takes us through the Yagour plateau where we can admire some pre-historic carved rocks, before we join the Zat Valley. It is certainly the best introduction to our treks in the Atlas.

After our “ballad” in the Atlas, a transfer will take us to the south of Essaouira “the white”; the coast extends to the infinite. Our paths pass cliffs dominating the ocean, sand dunes, and Argan tree forests. The life of the Berbers of these regions, the Haha tribe, is divided between land and sea. Such will be our walk to the discovery of wild beaches, fishermen hamlets, on the sound of the waves breaking tirelessly on the shores.

Extension Option

After Essaouira, we propose an extension of your trip to El Oualidia, a nice old fishing town located on the Atlantic coastline between the historic towns of El Jadida and Safi. It is a perfect location for few days relaxing on the beach.
