Far from the hustle and heat of Marrakech on a full-day sightseeing tour, we will travel east towards the Tadla Plain. After 2h30mn drive, we will head south towards the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mts. From Ait Atab, the road snakes up to overlook the superb El Abid Canyons. A really scenic route that will lead us the astonishing lush cape of thousands of olive trees, and the majestic falls plunging to the ground below from 110m high. It is a refreshing and reinvigorating sight here in such a dry environment and there will be plenty of photo opportunities with beautiful rainbows!
For lunch, you can enjoy a delicious Tagine in one of the traditional restaurants surrounded by lime, pomegranate and oak trees. If you are lucky, you will see an astonishing resident of the falls, the Barbary Macaques living in the lime stone cliffs and. After lunch, you can ramble along the network of trails leading to the pools below the falls and why not enjoy a ballad on traditional "boats" crossing the river.
Around 4.30 pm we will drive you back to Marrakech via Demnate. We will drop you at your hotel or riad at about 6.30pm.
